Yay for the Saints!
Wow, is it foggy here!!!
Well now....we now have no school.
Lori-I hate fog. We frequently get bad fog in town that is controlled by our inversion (where the cold air gets trapped in the valley & it's warm & sunny above it in the mountains). Since we are a little ways up the mountain at our house we can occasionally get above the fog & it's so beautiful up above it. That's my favorite time to ski too. Our airport even has a "fog buster" that sprays stuff into the air to clear the fog for about 20 minutes so the planes can land. That's one of the things I really don't like about it here-but luckily it isn't a constant thing. Good luck getting more food before the next storm.
We had such a fun superbowl. We played a lot of SORRY! while watching the game, ate tons of bad food & even had a cute little streaker run through the room (Lacey).
Calla has school today & Lacey & I have a ton of errands to run. Not much other than that.
Good morning everyone!!!
I sent Brayden off to school with ice cream cups for his birthday snack.
Serena, did you post pics of the party?
Now I've heard they cancelled because it was still sooooo cold after the delay.
We're closed again today because the roads are still bad. DH said our road and the next one are bad, but the main roads are fine. He went to work and had a hard time finding a parking space because he parks on the street.
Kari, I feel that way too about grocery shopping. I usually shop Tuesdays but I'm thinking we need to shop today instead. Be careful getting to town. Can't wait to hear how big Ainsley is getting.
Lori, amazing cold temperatures. I can't imagine letting those children walk in that weather. Have they still been walking all winter so far?
Serena, great idea with the ice cream cups.
I think we might need to get out today. Grocery shopping might be tough with T but I also need to get supplies to make valentines and his birthday treats.
morning. Still sicker than a dog. I think I know what Jake was fussing about a week or so ago. I have a sore throat, cough and my eyes were goopy this morning. Lovely...
Liam went skiing on Saturday and loved it! We have to figure out how to download the video to show you all, but he fell a lot and was a good sport about it. He wanted to keep trying over and over. He gave it 4 thumbs up!!! (toes included when it deserves the extra thumbs. ;)
Lori, wow, that was some snow drift!! We had that once when we woke up in the morning and 1/2 the window was covered in a snow drift. It was kind of a weird feeling. Sorry DH was being such a jerk.
Kari, wow to your snow too!! You guys can stop hogging it all now... ;) LOL at you getting your paper still.
Laura, glad that you had a nice day with Lacey on Saturday. Did you make those rice crispy footballs that I posted on this board? If you did, what did you think of them? I thought they were SUPER GOOD!! Everyone loved them.
Hilarie, glad the party went well. We need to see pictures too.
Wendi, LOL at T playing with you while you were sleeping. He just sounds so cute.
Serena, sounds like you had a great party too! I want pictures.
Well, we survived the weekend and didn't end up with any snow, although it looks like we could get a significant amount on Wednesday. After reading through the posts I see that some of you didn't fare quite as well! So far this winter has been pretty nonexistant as far as snow is concerned, although it has been cold.
Sounds like there were a couple of successful birthday parties over the weekend. Phoebe's is the 21st,even though her birthday is the 15th. We're going to be away for her birthday so we're doing the party a little late. We invited 18 kids, although we're hoping more like 10-12 will attend.
