I always mean to remind everyone about these.

Lowe's FREE Build and Grow Clinic is this weekend. They are building a Lowe-bot!

At our Lowe's pre-registration is not required. But, if you don't, you are required to fill out a form when you get there. It begins at 10am but you can arrive any time during the one-hour clinic. Usually DH and T do their projects in about 15 minutes.

PS - The next Lowe's Clinic is 3-13 to build a Tabletop Basketball game. Home Depot has their next Kids Workshop 3-6 to build a Rain Gauge.

This looks like fun. I wonder if Ainsley would do it? The basketball project looks like something DH would enjoy too.

Check out the typo from the site though:

That is too funny!

As the adult, you have to watch your fingers when the kids hammer. It can be very frustrating for the adult because it takes a LOT of patience while they hammer. T gives up at the end and DH ends up doing it when it's a long one like this. But still, he loves it.

I went back yesterday to the work area since it was taking a while and there was a girl there with an apron full of badges. T even commented on it. So I think the girls get a kick out of it, too. Besides every girl needs to know how to do things around the house.
