I asked this because I know a lot of restaurants dont peel theirs, or peel them in "stripes".
I do all of the above. Usually I peel them if I'm putting them with onions and vinegar dressing. I might stripe them for that too. T gets a kick out of that. But if I'm slicing them into sticks for a veggie tray, I'll leave the skin on.
Who hates cucumbers? They have no flavor! To me they kind of taste like water. And no, I don't cut off the skin.
