Do you wear your shoes in the house?
For me it depends.
I let everyone leave shoes on-unless they want to take them off-or if it's wet out I'll encourage them to remove them (mainly just kids though-I don't think I'd ever ask another adult to take off their shoes). I have been wearing my shoes constantly in the house lately since I read that it should help with my heel pain to wear them. I got new slippers for Christmas & was wearing them a ton & that's when my heel started hurting-so I think it was the bad support in them that pushed me over the edge.
We were also told by a carpet salesman a long long time ago that going barefoot on your carpet is bad for it because the oils in your skin get into the carpet & then make it dirty faster & it's hard to get the oils out. So I rarely go barefoot-I'll wear socks if I don't have on shoes or slippers. Thought that was interesting...not sure if it's true but seems logical.
