Just checking in to make sure you're all getting used to the new board features.
Have you checked out the new Profile pages yet and updated yours? You may have noticed that you can now tag messages for easy reference later; and macros are another handy feature where you can create and save messages that you expect you'll be using more than once.
Let me know if you need a hand with anything, and thank you for being here!

Pat!!!! We need both of your hands! LOL This board has been on life support for a couple of years, with really only a handful of regulars anymore. People still drop by now and then so I think it has value and want to continue to keep it's doors open, so to speak. But I fear that the recent changes might just clear the place out and that makes me super sad.

I hear you on the DYK thread and that it's important to see who you've replied to. That should be working as of this morning where it shows at the top of the post, who you are replying to.

Thank you for letting us know your feelings; the feedback we're getting from our members is important and I want you to know that we're logging
There are lots of technical things I don't like, but really, my biggest beef is that on the main page, the threads are so huge and take up so much space, that I can only see 5 threads at a time, where I used to see twenty or so.
And personally, I think that when you start a thread it should be optional to have that little peek at what you've written and also optional to have it be a sticky. I have been hesitating to start threads b/c it's too much pressure to know that the text will be there staring me in the face every time that I log in b/c our board moves so slowly.
Pat, could you do one thing for us? We'd like to move our DYK thread from Fun and Games to Daily Dish so that it will be at the top when we log in, does that make sense? I know we've moved stuff around before so I'm hoping that can happen without too much hassle.

Pat- is there an avenue for restructuring the board folders? Our CLs come and go so we'd probably need you to facilitate it for us.
