Since our other October thread has a glitch...here's a new one. Happy chatting! :)

I'm not doing Paleo 100%...allowing myself some cheats...so more like a cross between Paleo and South Beach. Like this morning I had one piece of while grain toast and at dinner I ate the crust of Addison's sourdough dinner bread. Oh, and I'm letting myself have dairy, of course!

Awww...sorry Lily is sick. I hope she feels better soon! Maybe she will rally tomorrow...Addison never stays sick for long. Where did you buy the glow sticks? They are so expensive from what I've seen. I found some at Big Lots for $.60 for a two pack so I bought a bunch...but with how crazy my kids get with them they won't last the week. I've seen people handing out the necklaces and bracelets like they were candy at Halloween though so I'm thinking there is a secret source of them that I am just not aware of...

Karen...I hope your MIL is safe.  They are talking about crazy storm surge, higher than we've ever seen!!  We are about 12 miles from the coast so we are fine, but we are supposed to get high winds.

So I called out company's emergency line this morning and it said that all the offices in CT are closed!!  Woohoo!!   Now I don't have to feel guilty for not going out and trying to see my patients.  Although I'm sure they will understand.  I will still take a ride to the office to hand in my time slips.  No one will be there, but they have a drop box.  I just want to do it now so I don't have to worry about it later.  The weather is still OK...they are talking about an increase in wind between 8-9.

I went to the office and then saw my 2 priority ortho patients.  Everyone else will have to wait.  It wasn't bad...just a bit gusty on the highway.  But they are closing this highways in 2 hours...couldn't stay out too long.

Not you too Michelle! We must be swapping germs on the board somehow.

Abby was up from 5-6 this morning. I think she was cold. I was not a happy camper. I'm starting to think more seriously about ending nursing. Dh uses that as an excuse for why he doesn't get up with her when she cries. Maybe if he got up and she realized she's not going to get nursed she wouldn't keep waking up...can't seem to convince him that that is the route we should try. Anyway, I'm exhausted and my throat and head hurt--boo.

Fun party Karen! I would have drugged Jordan up too. You put so much prep work into it!
