I'm here. I just have nothing to say, unless you count complaining and I am so tired of hearing myself complain. I think we are going to try to go to houston during spring break.

I know how you feel. Why Houston?

Karen, complain away!

Val, I'm sorry about your kitty. Hoping it's just a uti or moving stress and can be resolved fairly quickly.

Michelle, I can't believe A was stashing them in her desk! I'm sure you weren't happy but it did make me giggle just a little. The things these kids think they can get away with! I've had to step up my game on working with J on sight words and other stuff. I don't want him to fall behind and he's still showing very little interest in learning to read-yikes. Btw, I think sticking with the counselor is a good idea. Paying the bill is going to suck but if he's that good it's worth a shot.

Dh went to the Redbox this afternoon and I mentioned he should get Pitch Perfect if they had it. He came home with The Vow and swears thats what I told him to get. I know I have pregnancy brain but I also absolutely positively know that I did not tell him to get The Vow. So I watched it tonight (can't waste a $1!) -- total tear jerker. Of course dh chose to play computer games instead. Probably better that way, I could cry in peace. :)

I have a TON of drawing homework to do this weekend. I also need to do some work on my other class. And I would like to get in a run and some yoga. We'll see how much I actually accomplish!

What's everyone else up to?

I was kind of hoping with all the snow Laurie was getting that she might pop in here. I'm hoping her absence is due to IV being a pain and not something we said. I miss her!

Thanks for asking, Val. Gray seems to be doing better - even though we have been giving him less fluid. DH is really happy about it, but when I look at Gray, he does not seem that happy. He still gets his scratches, but he is very slow and gets confused. I don't know what to do. I guess nothing for now. I just don't want to look back and feel like I kept him around too long and for selfish reasons.

I grew up in Houston. Most of my family is there - nearly all are in Texas. We still have some close friends there too. We have not been back since B was 9 months old, so we owe them a visit. The thing is - I usually end up going in August, which is brutal, so I am trying to work it out for more tolerable weather.

Hahaha - Alicia, any chance that he got you a chick flick so he could play games? I could see that happening here...

I need new bras! Nothing has fit since I had kids. My boobs are completely different. And there is far too much giggle when I walk. I decided to get a proper fitting since I can not find the right one - plus I wear a less common size so a lingerie shop will have more options. Now that my deadline has passed, I have to wait for DH's deadline in March to have a free Saturday sans kiddos. Then I have to get lowlights done. It has been 18 months since I did it last. I was twirling a piece of my hair in front today. When I looked at it, I noticed that it was all white. No brown strands. I am about 80% white in front and it makes me look too old. I will have brown streaks put in to look more stripey and "cool."

Awww....complain away, sweetie! We all do our fair share!! When is your spring break? It was so warm when I was in Houston the end of January. I didn't anticipate the difference the humidity would make and had to shop while I was there for some lighter shirts. I went to the Macy's downtown and they were liquidating everything to close down the store! So it was pretty picked over.
