We do half days here. The last governor made all day mandatory and the schools kept putting it off. New governor said half day was okay so we are back to that.

We looked at bunkbeds. I can't find anything that I like that looks good separate and together. I prefer the loft bed with one that comes out into the room on the bottom but they take up more space.

12 kids?! What's the nanny to kid ratio?

No wine for me tonight. When I spend all day massaging my shoulders and stretching my neck and having muscle pain, it usually means a migraine is on the way. So as soon as I got home I took a half dose of codeine and started with heat on the shoulders. The meds kicked in while we were playing legos. I was a much more fun mellow mom tonight for bedtime. Made me realize what a ball of stress I am everynight with the kids. I need to work on my patience. Kinda makes me sad to admit that I spend a lot of time barking at the kids. B seemed more mellow because of me.

I guess I have to work on it.

How very annoying and uncomfortable for C. I used to get hives as a kid and it was a reaction to excessive pollen (like when they cleared a lot for building). But there have been plenty of times I've broken out for some unknown reason. Heck I've gotten hives from my allergy shots. I hope it clears up. FWIW I found that cool sheets or a cold room helped them feel better/clear up along with benadryl.

That's why I'm glad she picked dad to ride the bus with her. He won't be a blubbering fool about it. But that really only delays it for me by 3 days.
