Speaking of LOL....my mom sent me a text today that said LOL. That's kinda wierd......like when she says "cool". It just doesn't sound right.

Oh gosh...so soon! How many hours? I started working from home 1 month after A was born. It was hard to put in 20 hours a week, but I needed the money because I misunderstood how pregnancy disability benefits worked and didn't save enough. So I just extended my leave out 2 more weeks. I was sooo ready to go back after trying to balance work from home with a newborn.

Yes, she is a very heavy sleeper! (Hence the need for pullups still.)

Haha. I know. When a boss puts that in an email, I'm like, "whaaa?" That's why I'm careful to use smileys in work emails instead!

I only work 24 a week when I go in, so I don't expect it to be that much. I do accounts payable, so it will really be just entering bills, journal entries, and some reporting.
All things that are easily interrupted and picked up again a few hours later.

So Christine - QB question for you. I'm doing trade with a friend for some marketing work. Her sister, who works for her doing admin stuff is supposed to in turn help me with accounting stuff. I would buy her a QuickBooks license, but I think the computers have to be networked for her to do anything for me, right? I wish now I would have done the online version, instead. She's an hour away so it's not like I can just pop over and let her work off my computer for a few hours.

mmm...Karen, your new chicken recipe you posted to the recipes thread sounds so good! Where do you buy bulk spices, I wonder?

I got the cardamom at Sprouts Farmers Market (used to be henry's) - there are a few in San Diego. You could also try Whole Foods. Some have bulk spices. Try the chicken if you can find the it. It was delish and easy.

Thanks! I think our closest Whole Foods is in Tustin (too far) but I think there was a Henrys near one of my major shopping areas that is not close but I end up at almost every weekend. Will have to check it out!
