I've been searching on Craigslist for weeks now for a glider or rocker.

Cute rocker, Alicia! I wonder how much it would cost to get it recovered, so you didn't have to bother with it?

I know, Sept 12 will be here before we know it! I don't think I've heard you talk about names, Alicia...are you telling?

Hey ladies. I'm sure Michelle told you it's a boy! His name has yet to be determined. 7lbs 15oz and I think 20 inches long. Bigger than I expected. I started having contractions at dinner Tuesday but not too bad. Around 11pm they started getting strong enough that I couldn't sleep. I had found a free app that I could use to time them so DH could keep sleeping. They calmed down between 1-2am and I slept for an hour. For be next 2 hours they were pretty strong and with in the range that I could call the on call dr. We were at the hospital by 5 and admitted just after 7am and they started the drugs. It took 3 tried to get the epidural in. Gotta love teaching hospitals. They broke my water at 11am and around 1:30 said I was ready to start pushing. Well someone was sideways and after 45 minutes of pushing my doctor said that it would take a other 45 minutes or she could use the vacuum. I opted for the vacuum because I wasn't sure I could go for another 45. DH was folding me in half as it was. 5 minutes or so later he was out.
He's doing great. I have a spinal headache from the attempted epi tries. I got to hold him for an hour or so before they took him to the nursery. But with my headache I have to lie flat so I haven't seen him since 8 last night. Luckily the family will be here soon so we can hang out with him for a while. And bopefully settle on a name.

The two things freaking me out about having a boy are circumsicion and shots. I told DH he could make the circ choice but he's telling memwhatever I want to do. I don't see (from what I've read) a reason for it. For those of you with uncirced boys have you run into any challenges?
