I am trying to look for a new job now. Ugh. The guy I work with at one site Is leaving and so they won't replace him!! They said I will have to be inbcharge ultimately. He had 15 years of experience. They need an experienced guy!

Hi Yuliya! Yay for a weekend off! Hope you are able to relax and enjoy.

Sorry to hear that your workload is going to increase. It has to feel good that they have this much confidence in you though! When do you start getting your higher rate of pay? I hope it's soon!

So...my b!tch boss at my last job who gave me a lot of trouble...she was on maternity leave and I found out yesterday she isn't going back! That's great for me because she threw me under the bus several times and made me look incompetent with the agency CEO. When I was in their LA office a few weeks ago (I'm still working with them quite a bit but they are paying me double what I was making on salary) one of the VPs started in about how the SVP can't stop singing my praises, now they realize what they lost, blah blah blah. Well I've been worried that when my old VP came back she would start stirring the pot to try to save face. But now that she isn't coming back, I don't have to worry about it...so yay!

In fact, I think they are pretty PO'd at her. She went on leave July 1 and told them she would come back the end of January...then didn't bother telling them she wasn't coming back until last week.

the one thing about anti diarrheals and such is that it does not let things "pass" which is the only way to over it. so it can drag things out.

Yay Gabe! I'll have to store that idea away for when we move Abby to a bed.

New computer, no kids, car shopping, movies, sushi, and great tax news--sounds like a great weekend!

Y, that's crazy that one minute their telling you you need a little more time and experience and the next they're sticking you in that guys position. I hope you can find a better job soon. Will it be easier this time around because you have experience?

I didn't know that, Karen! G had to take it though because he was dehydrated because he was drinking water, gatorade and his body wasn't absorbing any of it. Sorry for the TMI.
