I am so happy we have been doing so much talking in the last few months.

We can claim our dependent care as soon as there is money in the account. But we wait and claim it in chunks...about $1,000 at a time. DH saves the last one for me to use for Christmas shopping. It's so nice to not have to worry about saving up or putting it all on a CC!

Speaking of CCs...the CC companies are coming out with better balance transfer offers again. We just got an offer with NO transaction fee and 2.9% interest until early 2013. Haven't seen that in a while.

Oh the labels. I don't know what to say. I think kids are always one step ahead and will use whatever they can against each other. (ooops does it sounds like i did not have the best high school experience?) I went to an elite all girl catholic high school. man those girls were vicious. We were all smart. But some were poor. Some were not popular. Some were not pretty enough, thin enough, yadda yadda. There will always be something. Unfortunately.

DH said that A would never sleep on our bed. Well when she figured out that she could come downstairs she did. And I always carried her back up. Then she started going over to DH's side of the bed and his lazy a$& just put her I'm bed with us. I refused to break her of that habit since I didn't create it. It took until right before D arrived to get her to sleep by herself. Hopefully he's learned something in the last 5 years.

It's some channel we get with our cable. It has updated versions of My Little Pony, jem, Strawberry Shortcake. I could probably tolerate it more if it didn't have commercials.

We did dependent care last year. I could pay daycare directly from the account. It was quite nice.

Yeah, I guess this dialogue is just influenced by my own insecurities! I am drawing back on those feelings of inferiority and not being "smart enough" that started when I was a kid...but they still continue today. In my job, I am surrounded by super-smart people and always feel like I am the dumb one in the room. I know I'm not, but because I have difficulty verbally communicating my thoughts at times because my brain moves faster than my mouth, I feel like a scatterbrained dumbass. Not a good trait for a PR person! LOL Anyways...I digress...

Addison still climbs in bed with us once or twice a week, but it's mostly in the wee hours of the mornings. I can deal with that. We let her sleep with us a few days ago for the whole night. I love snuggling with her (unlike Gabe, who wakes up and wants to play). But it can quickly snowball into a nightmare habit to break!

Haha. I've not yet seen that channel. Too funny. My little sister watched most of those cartoons. She's just 2 years younger than me but when I was of the cartoon-watching age, we didn't have many options. Just looney tunes, ben and jerry, etc. Oh, and I think toward the end of my days I watched a lot of Shirt Tales. Oh, and of course...the Smurfs.

DH is at a conference until Saturday night. Yay! I enjoy the break every once in a while, even though it's more work for me with the kids. I still don't know what I'm going to do with the chicken breasts. I was hunting through our deep freeze and I found a few bags of gnocchi from Trader Joes. DH isn't a fan so I may look for an italian crock pot recipe for the chicken instead...just to get rid of it. the gnocci has a strong basil flavor though, so IDK if the kids will go for it.
