I am so happy we have been doing so much talking in the last few months.

We are making chili and cornbread for dinner. We'll see if the kids actually eat it!

Took both kids to the grocery store this afternoon...fun times! I bribed them with cookies to behave...it was a long shopping trip so food bribes only last so long.

I went to the store on Fri before I picked up the boys from school. It was so nice to do it alone.

I could have left them at home but they didn't get out of the house today....so I felt guilty.

As I predicted....they hated the chili! LOL

Seriously though...we mixed the corn bread into it, also cheese and sour cream. It was still a little bit spicy...but not "kid unfriendly," I thought.

Wow Camryn sounds like a really talented soccer player!

Woohoo for the wine, Val!

We had a successful food weekend. I made homemade ricotta gnocchi yesterday and the cardamom chicken with roasted sweet potato and streamed broccoli. Kids loved it all. Sometimes the food is too adult for them, but i hit it just right. Now what will i do for the week? i did not plan that far so i guess it is a quick trip to the store on the way home tomorrow...

I'm going to get back to filing. Too much fun.

B has a freak out everytime i try to put him in new clothes or shoes. (this is the exact opposite from lily who LOVES clothes.) This has been happening over the last 6 months. anyone experience this? like today- i set him up to finger paint for the first time (he has only done crayons until now) and i put a smock on him. he could not paint he was so upset by the smock. we got a great picture on him crying covered in red paint.

he is down to 4 outfits - i need to get him into his new clothes and i am dreading the fight. it took 2 of us to get him in new shoes when his were too small and falling apart. kids!

Karen, kids are so hard sometimes! Taylor would have issues going from winter clothes into summer close and vice versa when he was young. I think he has issues for about 2 years.
