Addison is doing fine at drop-off. It's clear we need to work on our morning routine though. I got up at 6:15, showered, nursed Gabe and got Addison up at 6:45. It was not enough time to get her out the door by 7:20. It's not a huge deal because I don't have to get her there until 7:45, but if I drop her off at the YMCA, they walk her over and wait for her teacher. Otherwise I have to do it. From a timing standpoint, it doesn't really matter. It still took me about 20 minutes round-trip. Not bad at all!

She was a PITA about packing her lunch today. She has been begging for PB&J, saying that nobody in the Y program was allergic, and that she had asked them. I gave in, only to have her tell me that we better just make a jelly sandwich in case someone was allergic. I showed her the new turkey I bought her (without pepper) and she said she didn't like it.

We'll figure it out eventually. Oh, and then the zipper on her lunch sack that she has used TWICE is broken. Grrr. I got it at Target, which is a PITA to get to. I think our Target here opens in about a month. Luckily I had backup lunch bags from sending breastmilk to the sitter for Gabe.

What is everyone up to today? It's been a pretty good morning so far, although I haven't gotten much billable work done. I'm going to stop procrastinating after this post! I did some accounting work this morning, then returned our cable boxes because they charged us $900 for them! Yikes...

Have a call with my accountant at 2:00, then at 4:30 I'm heading to San Diego for a women of wind energy dinner meeting.

WoWE isn't really a client...but I'm involved with them to try to get more wind energy clients! So it's a little bit of an obligation. I wouldn't feel so much that way if I didn't have to drive down to San Diego for functions! It will be good for me though when my wind project winds down to have professional engagement like this, to get me out of the house and have some real interaction with adults!

Wow, that is great...go Abby!!

IDK what I'm going to do about flu shots this year. I have had them the past several years and I've gotten flu every year! Last year it was really bad. I missed a whole week of work.
