Michelle, I would like to loose a few lbs. my weight keeps drifting up and i worked so hard to get it down. plus i am the body type that only gains in the stomach. I get all humpty dumpty with the chicken legs. sexy - so i really try to keep it low. And my biggest hurdle is the cravings. i was hoping p1 would help that. but i am looking at the rules and i don't know if i can do that. i might have to adjust a little. i can not go no carb with the hypoglycemia (does that sound like an excuse already?!?!?). i might have to go a little more toward p2. but then i still have the cravings... i have lots of good ideas from my app for snacks etc. i am starting something next monday. we will see. i don't want to set myself up for failure.

Alicia, people always imagine the best case scenario when they picture where they will be in X years. And with this economy, others really understand when things aren't going as planned. Don't be too hard on yourself. Sounds like you guys are doing well.

I went through the same thing with lily when brady was born. she didn't necessarily rebel, i just had no energy for her after i was done with him. and while he wasnt easy, being with him was more quiet and slower. i had a hard time balancing, but it improves with time. plus the first year, dh took on more of lily while i concentrated on brady. then again, i was not home all day with both of them, so i had it a little easier. but i know where you are coming from all the same.

Alicia, this probably will not help you, but I am a member of www.fxphd.com - it is a site that has online courses in visual effects and motion graphics, etc. The offer 10 week courses. you sign up and pick 3 courses and get a background course, for $360. I take these to keep my skills up. it is more directed towards my industry, but I found 2 courses that are related:

MOG204 Typography in Title Design
MOG210 The Broadcast Ident

Each course is a 30minute video you download and keep and you can get student software to practice. It is the closest thing I know of for something you could start now. The fundamentals are probably the same. And you can check out previews to see if it is interesting.

I think I missed it because A went to kindy right after D was born. But I'm right there with you on the weekends. And the 2 week winter break was a doozy. It's hard, hard, hard and I have no idea how parents of more than 2 do it.

I hope you are feeling better Michelle. My cold has passed the lazy, stay in bed stage and I got a lot of laundry done yesterday. Speaking of freezer, I need to pull out something for tonight.
