I never thought about it like that. I am going to start getting up 10 min early to do a work out on my on demand cable. I know it isn't much but it is a start.
My neighbor is running for state representative. I find this quite amusing. First, she is the former PTA president, now treasurer. She because treasurer because she ran for school board in November and got the most votes. She started on January 1. She drove the levy for the school that they snuck by voters last spring. Now she's running for state rep and part of her section on education issues says.... I have a plan to reduce tax rates while broadening the base to more appropriately and sustainably fund our children's education. Really? You pushed for the last 2 years to get a levy passed to jack up my property tax. Now you have a plan to lower it. I can't wait to hear it.
I'm glad your birthday weekend was so fun, val. you deserve it!
Alicia, I ate like a horse while I was nursing.
Michelle, I gained 15 lbs in 15 months after i stopped nursing. So not gaining is good! I can understand your frustration. I lost 3 lbs and stopped losing. I have come to the realization that for me, i think i have to exercise to see change.
Laurie, can you post the peanut butter chocolate bars? They sound so good.
Work upgraded my flame (the softtware i use) to the current version (5 versions) and the interface is barely recognizable. I have so much to learn in the next few days, I will be busy.
But first I must go because tonight is the season premiere of rupaul's drag race. I don't know why i love that show so much. Mondays are a DRAG!
Oh and my food for the week is chicken tenders, coconut rice, lots of roasted broccoli, lentil soup, quinoa and kale crustless quiche, and something else I can't think of.
Sounds like a good food week, karen! Your software upgrade jumped 5 versions? Oh lord...that doesn't sound good.
I had no idea rupaul had a show!
Same here with the weight loss...I stopped at 3 lbs. I read something encouraging today though that on low carb diets it's pretty common to lose the first two weeks, stall for weeks 3-4 then see the pounds start melting off in weeks 5-6. Fingers crossed for us both!!!
thats good to know, michelle. well, i am keeping up with it either way. i am a much nicer person whwn my blood sugar is under control. here's hoping it picks up.
okay, rupaul's drag race is awesome. first of all, he is a very likable guy, playing the harsh queen judge on the runway and the tim gunn mentor in the workroom. then, it is the best of project runway meets americas top model, but with drag queens. then you have to admit that some of these men have real talent when it comes to their trade. and lastly, the puns that the judges make during the runway show are too much. one queen was described as being inspired by lawrence of a labia. hah! love the show.
