Ok, all you momma's with kids who play team sports....I am VERY upset about something that happened today and I am curious about what you all think....


So, the girls are both on the same softball team.

We don't do team sports (unless you count dancing), nor did we have a snack roster when we did.


BUT....I think it was downright rude of her to supply snacks to only select kids & exclude the others.


If it was her turn to supply snacks then she should do it for everyone. If she just wanted to supply cupcakes for those that attended the opening then se should have given them out at the opening when the others weren't there.


I think you are justified to be mad.

That was totally uncalled for by the coach. As Helen said, if she wanted to give out cupcakes, she should have done it at the ceremony. Who in the world would do that to a group of children? I have never heard of anything like that. What was her response to your email?

Rude, rude, rude. Completely uncalled for and I'm glad you aren't letting her get away with it. Like Karol said if she only wanted kids who attended the ceremony to get them, then hand them out there not at the next event.

She sent out an email (a very long email) to ALL the parents on the team saying basically that the cupcakes weren't a snack.
