Happy April, ladies?

Love the month of April---springtime and all sorts of newness all around?

We are on Spring Break! It actually began on Friday and the girls go back on Tuesday, the 10th?

Awesome long break this year?

We just took the cover off of the pool?

Lily spent the weekend babysitting for a neighbor's little girl and made great cashola?

Her plans are to purchase a Nook Color with the money?

She has been busy babysitting for quite awhile and she loves it?

Shelly and I spent the weekend working on an animal project she has due on the 23rd. So glad to have that under our belt. She worked so hard and never complained. Proud of her?

John is gearing up for knee surgery this month. He tore his meniscus (on his other knee) during basketball reffing?

And, I am scheduled for surgery on my foot for a bone spur this month, as well?

That appointment may be moved until May depending on John's situation?

The girls have 34 days of school left after break!?

I started a major purging of the house in January with various zones and I completed purging

...I'll do grass green today, since we are totally greening up around here??

...I think the party is coming along?

...everyone can come, one is a maybe?

...love, love, love this group of girls?

...got to check quite a few things off my list today?

...got to make pictures for the signs for the school that her friends are making?

...I'm thinking of buying a little chocolate fountain?

...she LOVES chocolate, and I thought that would be a hit?

...thinking of things to make for dipping?

...mini rice crispy treats, strawberries, pretzles...thoughts?

...they're only $30 at walmart?

...bought a second bottle of sparkling cider for the limo?

...now i just have to think of what other snacks for the limo?

...I was also thinking we'd do a limo photo tour, and stop at their high school for limo pics with the high school in the background?

...cool or lame?

...I want to have like 100 balloons for when she walks in, but I've heard the $20 helium tank at walmart is total bunk?

...now I have to channel my inner Karol and purge and decrap before the party?

...oh and I have to get my tax crap together?

...gotta love working under pressure?

...Lauri, how are you feeling?

...I've been thinking of ya?

...Karol, super cool about the babysitting?

...Natalie LOVES the little ones?

...she has much more of a natural draw to them than Mariah does, or ever has?

...Natalie's a pretty reserved kid...coming across almost snooty?

...she's not, she's just shy?

...but when little kids (like toddling babies) she comes ALIVE, pops out of her shell?

...it really is amazing?

...love that about her?

...well, girlie hates babysitting?

...says she hates kids?

...I used to say the SAME thing, so I'm not worried about her?

...I don't hate kids, I hate brats?

...I've assured her she won't hate our grandchildren, Christol?

OH and Karol, I was going to mention that Max and Claire both have the Kindle fire and they LOVE it, very similar to the IPAD for what they need. My friend has the Nook Color and I've looked at it, liked it, seems similar but her battery life doesn't appear to last as long. I also LOVE the Amazon customer service, when my Kindle had a screen issue, they had a new one to me in a couple of days and I didn't purchase anything additional for warranty. Just thought I'd mention it.

Good luck with your surgery, my Grandma and Aunt had that surgery and was very happy with the results. And, I've had John's surgery, the recovery wasn't bad..hope the same to be true for him.

Thanks for the Kindle info. I've heard of potential problems with the Kindle and wasn't sure about her getting that one. Good to hear that you guys have done well with them. I'll mention that to Lily?

Do you know if you can share books on the Kindle like you can on the Nook?

This will be John's second time with the surgery. About 4 years ago he had the left knee done with the same issues. So, I think he'll be fine?

I am looking forward to my surgery. Hoping for some range of motion for my big toe, again?

It is so incredibly uncomfortable?

Strangely, I can still manage to put that foot into my Reeboks and can walk about 5 miles without any real pain. But, when I get home and take the shoe off---OUCH!?

You can share books with other Kindle owners.

You might want to look for a shoe with a larger toe box. I had never heard of such a thing but my friend Annie who is a runner was talking about it being the difference for some shoes. Not sure which brand that is but I would guess you could google it. I have never had problems with Reeboks but those new shape ups took some time to break in, my toes would fall asleep?? Good luck.

Can't wait to see the chickens Kelley! Good luck taking down that family;)

Hope the remodel picks up, that is not a fun process but I'm sure you'll love the end result.

WOO HOO Noah! I can't believe he'll be at the high school. Is he excited about that?

Good luck with the new team. Hoping the new coaches ROCK!

I am also procrastinating, but I better get to it? Sucks to be a grown up sometimes;)

Kelley, have you tried allergy meds for the cough? Claire sounds like a barking seal in October typically but this year she has the same cough right now. Good luck with the BP.
