Microwaves are only for the teachers to use. Kids must bring the warm/hot food in a thermos.

If the kids want a hot lunch, it goes in a thermos.

Not anymore. Before the fire we had microwaves in every room (the kids actually ate in their rooms). Of course it was against the rules but we got away with it for a long time. But once we had to move into a new building and lost the micros in the fire, nope! It was so nice to be able to send things in that could be reheated.

The kids don't have "access" to microwaves but certain teachers will let the kids heat up the meals or make popcorn in the lounge.

No microwaves for the students to use at the elementary school. I think Regina was allowed to use the microwave a couple times with a teacher because she's teacher's pet. lol

Our elementary school has a wonderful lunch program. There is a whole kitchen where they make the food. The kids seem to like almost everything. There are always two choices.
