DYK???????????

Kelley, glad to hear that you are getting plenty of work substituting?

Missi, how was the movie?

Christy, is MIL out of there?

Christol, how are things going with Scott (I think that’s his name, forgive me if it isn’t)?

Helen, hope you can get back on the board. How is Eloise doing? And how are you doing?

Kimberly, can’t wait to hear how the Miley Cyrus surprise goes?

We have had a nice weekend?

Did some yard work on Friday afternoon/evening and then went out to dinner ?

Yesterday the girls and I met some friends at the movies and saw Planet 51. It wasn’t that good, but the girls had fun?

Last night we hung out, had chili, and watched the Hannah Montana movie?

Not sure what are plans are for today?

So thankful that there are only two days of school this week?

Also happy that I probably won’t sub at all?

We’ll head to VB on Tuesday. I can’t wait to see everyone there?

We will all be at my sister’s for Thanksgiving. Should be nice to be together?

My sisters and I have some items to go through with my dad at his house?

All for now, Happy Thanksgiving?

DYK...

Kelley, I guess I don't quite understand why your nephew's wife is giving you so many problems. Apparently she has nothing else better to do. Is this the one that had the really hurried wedding??

I'm having my mom and grandma over for Thanksgiving. Then on Friday, we'll go to my aunt's house to have appetizers and desserts and to play games. No sense in having two huge meals.

Rhiannon and Joey went out to play. The weather is gorgeous here today.

Regina is sleeping on the couch. Layla is comfy in her car seat. She likes to sleep in it. Pretty soon, Regina will have to work on getting her to sleep in her crib.

I am still in my pjs, yes at 3:00 p.m. Oh well, right? lol

I need to figure out something for dinner. Ugh.

And I should clean up the house a little.

Hope everyone's having a relaxing Sunday.

Hello, all! Sorry I didn't check in last week. It has been hectic around here. The kids don't have school at all next week, so last week was all the pre-Thanksgiving stuff.

Alora's class had special snack on Friday because it was the last day of the semester. It was called "tub of grub". All the kids brought in different ingredients to add in. We mixed it in a giant Rubbermaid container. There was LOTS of sugar in that tub! Good thing Alora's class had PE in the afternoon. Then, Alora had a school sponsored skate party at the local roller rink. The cool part, the kids were picked up by the roller rink's bus and then dropped off back at the school.

Arionna had her "Brown bear, brown bear" class play. It was soo cute! She did a great job as "red fox".

Kaylee has an Ultimate Frisbee tournament this weekend. 9-4 both Saturday and Sunday. She turned her ankle yesterday. Chance said she was doing well this morning, but one time when she was running hard she hurt it, again.

We are heading ALL the way across the street for Thanksgiving. We thought of going to WY, but it is just too expensive to put the dogs in camp while we are gone...especially since we will be going to Fl.

Thanks for the warning Marie! I was never really big on my babies sleeping in their car seats. She was sleeping in there for about 2 hours today. I really didn't think we needed a bassinet but we really do. Ideally, one of those pack n plays with the bassinet on top would be great. Hopefully I can get her one soon.

DYK..

...Karol, have a safe trip to VB?

...I'll be thinking of you as you sort out your stuff?

...Carmen, sounds like a fun Thanksgiving for your family?

...I saw the updated picture of Layla and I think she is even cuter?

...Marie, I can't believe you have to go ALL the way across the street?

...I hope you give yourself plenty of time to get there?

I am glad you posted this! I used to let B sleep in her carseat (she had gerd and slept better in it) but we tell moms not to do it now. Actually, we do car seat tests prior to discharge....where we put a pulse ox on baby and make sure baby can hold sats long enough for a drive home since it is such a concern. (well, not ALL babies, we do it if baby is under 7 pounds OR if the drive home is longer then a half hour). I hope you can get the pack and play.....those things are NICE! I like hte ones with the changing station on one side and bassenette on th eother.
