the kids finish school on Thursday
they are then off until Tuesday the 24th
then they have the 25th off for ANZAC which is a remembrance day for our soldiers
so they don't have a lot of school in April

I got some wonderful news this morning
Joshua is going into his final two years of high school next year and Samuel starts high school next year (no middle school here)
we weren't sure if we could afford for Samuel to go but the local public high school is not great
anyway both Joshua and Samuel sat the scholarship exam in February
unfortunately Samuel didn't get a scholarship BUT Joshua has been offered a 75% scholarship
so we can send Samuel there because Joshua's fees will be much less
I explained our situation too and the principal said that if money is the only problem with Samuel not being sent there, then to talk to him and that we should be able to still send him
so that is a huge relief and will reassure Samuel because he has been worried about where he was going
Samuel is quite bright so we were surprised he didn't get a scholarship but he can resit in two years
it may be a nerves thing too and after two years of high school he may perform better and get a scholarship next time
they sit them every two years and the scholarships are for 2 years
Max is bright too so there is a chance he could benefit from a scholarship too
Freya I am not holding my breathe
we will have to pay full fees for her LOL
she is capable but not as scholastic as the boys are

wow, you've really been hit hard w/this illness?
i hope a good nights sleep does the trick?
& you can make it thru both the party & work?

Yes .... I guess I haven't really been sick like this (aside from that awful stomach bug - but that was at least quick!) since Juli was born

So I can't really complain

But man alive I've been a mess this past week :)

I am feeling a bit better today!

Still stuffy and a cough - but my energy is coming back

I don't know that I would want to get home late on a Sunday night before a school week

Too bad your Sister can't realize that since you all have to travel "dinner time" isn't the best time to celebrate on Easter Sunday

Most people have brunch or luncheon on Easter!
