Nikki is right Shelby

The first thing the allergist told my Mom when Meri turned up having so many allergies was to get rid of the carpets and switch to hard wood floors

There are tons of articles

I think I may try to do some painting today?

We'll see how that goes?

I am not really a painter? ;)

I am going to start small though?

A lot of the trim work in the house is really in need of painting?

It's all white and has gotten dirty/chipped/etc.?

Drew is really trying to talk me out of it?

I think he's afraid I'm either going to really mess it up and then I'll have to pay someone to come in and fix it---or worse, Drew himself is going to get sucked into the project? LOL

I'm sick of looking at how it looks though, and I'm thinking it shouldn't be THAT hard to do?

I just don't have a lot of painting experience?

Drew's usually always done it, and in recent years, we've had someone come in and do the painting?

I'm a tad nervous to do it upstairs b/c we have carpeting in the hallway, and if I get paint on it, then that won't be good?

I'm going to start downstairs though where there are hardwoods and vinyl?

Wish me luck!?

Well, it looks like there will be no painting for me today due to the fact I have no paint? lol

I touched up a little of the trim work fairly recently, so I'm not sure where it could have gone---unless there was no more paint left (I can't remember how much was left in the can)?

There are a whole bunch of paint cans out there, but I can't seem to find the plain old white paint?

Bummer!?

By the time I get the kids dressed and get to the store, it will probably be close to lunch time?

Then it will be time for swimming lessons, so I doubt I'd have much time?

I don't even know that I'd know what type/kind of paint to buy if I went out to bought it---that's how much of an inexperienced painter I am? :)

Good luck with the painting!

You totally can do it!

Get a tarp to lay on the floor under where you are painting - so if you drip or spill it will protect the floor
