Dawn have fun getting your hairs cut!

Sounds like you have a busy day

Don't forget to take before and after pictures of your hair :smileyhappy:

What's everyone up to today?

We are having a slow morning - the girls are watching the rest of the gymnastics (Alli) and playing a new DS game that Joe brought home (Juli)

We are heading to the pool at 12:15 with a picnic lunch to meet up with friends for lunch and swimming

Then I will head home after 3pm and have to get showered and changed for work right away

So the day will speed right by ....

Tomorrow Alli has a swimming lesson at 12:30, but otherwise we have no specific plans

My Sister invited Juli to sleep over .... and so I offered to take Ana here ... so at some point we will need to meet up to switch kids

And Friday there is a library puppet show in the afternoon we may go to, but otherwise no plans

I'm liking this week :smileyhappy:

Juli is sitting so close to me on the couch I can hardly breathe

And eery time I inch away, she inches into me

So we have slowly moved from one end of the couch to the other ... one inch at a time :smileywink:

I am not sure what we are up to today

I found this really cute idea online last night for school, and the woman even had it available to download

I still need to put something on one of my closets at work to decorate, and this would be perfect b/c it is like an activity I can do with the kids when theynare standing at the door waiting for the teacher if he/she is
late

I was thinking of printing it at work, and then laminating it

If I can get it up on the doors, that would be even better

My worry is that if I wait until after vacation, everyone will be at school laminating

Sometimes the laminating paper runs out

We have a new librarian this year, and I don't know if/when she'll be in or even knows how to change the paper

Someone was already there yesterday laminating all her beginning of the year things, so I know people will be there soon doing that

My thoughtnwas to maybe just go and do that and take the kids, but we are having a really lazy morning and I am not dressed

Then we're going to run into lunchtime

You should head to school and do it!

Pack a lunch for them - that should keep them busy for part of the time :smileyhappy:

I went to the teacher store in June so that I didn't have to deal with going in the summer, but I realized yesterday that I forgot to vuy something

Sigh

The store is relatively close to school, so If I do go to school, I could stop there on the way home

I hate going there with the kids though b/c they want to look at
everything and buy everything, lol

I would like to have a day of just relaxing and hanging out in the pool, but it looks like another cloudy day

The sun has popped out a few times, but it is cloudy overall, so not a great pool day

I forgot we have to go to the library since we have things due

I would just like to return everything we have and be done checking out things for awhile since we'll be away anyway soon

Caden has two books he wantsnto read though, so I'm not sure he'll part with them---although I don't want him bringing library books on vacation anyway, so I don't know that he'll really get a chance to read them

I am literally wasting the day away though just sitting around, plus I got out bed later than normal, so the day is already slipping away!

I just cut up a bunch of fruit and portioned out part of it for us to take to the pool as part of our lunch

And the rest is stored in containers in the fridge for the kids to snack on

I have a lot of fruit this week because they were asking for it

But I don't want it to go bad, lol

So I cut up the watermelon, washed and pitted the cherries and sliced up the 2 peaches that were leftover from last week so they will get eaten first

The apples and grapes I bought will last longer and can get eaten after this stuff is done :smileywink:

And the blueberries and strawberries will go fast whether I prep them or not!

I am also going to take a shower before we go - so I should get on that ... as time is tick tocking away

dyk, this is the first time we have been able to go to the pool in a while

And it is not even a nice day :smileysad:

It is cloudy and 73 degrees!!!

When I get together with my Sister - we can't do the pool, since she has no membership

It would cost her $30 to get in for the day

And we have been spending a lot of time with her these days - since she needs to get out of my Mom's house :smileywink:

For sanity sakes!

But we have to make sure to fit in more pool time this month!
