I feel like it was almost too early of a start since just over a month ago I was putting everything away and packing up for the summer. : )

But I think that may be a part of some of my sleeping issues lately

The summer is really going by quickly, and I know our trip will be here before I know it

And I'm already worrying about how I will deal with everything I have to tend to that week, plus getting ready for school

So, I do feel better now about it because a ton is done

I ended up calling the library this afternoon to see about the books that they said I didn't return

I almost was just going to go there, but a librarian did tell me to just call if that should ever happen again so as to not drive all the way over there

The computer was down though, so she said she'd have to call me back

I didn't have a good feeling that she was going to find them, but she left
a message saying she found them both

I am happy about that!

I don't understand how they keep messing this up though since this has happened a few times within the past month

Someone I know posted on FB about this awesome sale on kids' shoes

I wanted to go this past Saturday, but I was out the whole day

I thought of it Monday, but it was closed by the time I thought of it

Yesterday I totally forgot, but today I remembered when I saw an ad in the paper

Of course, I really did wait too long b/c there was not much of a selection at this point

I was thinking of getting them a backup pairmof sneakers for school since everything was only $10

There wasn't a big selection, but we found a pair for each of them

I don't really think they'll be in different sizes before school anyway, so they should work

One pair was originally $45 and the other $50, so it was definitely a great deal for a total of $20!

Drew wanted to go out to look for a bathing suit tonight since he needs one, so we all went out to Kohls

We weren't planning on school clothes shopping for the kids, but we saw some things that we thought looked good

I know everything we got will still fit come fall, so we got a few things

Connor actually does have quite a few pairs of pants now since he has some hand-me-downs from Caden that are in good shape

So as long as they fit (they're the same size we bought tonight), he shouldn't need tons of pants

I think he will need shirts though, but he has plenty to get started

Caden is a whole different story

He had one pair of pants that fit him by May, and a lot of his long sleeve shorts were getting small by spring

So, I have a feeling he is going to need a lot

My mom keeps asking me to call her if we go out school shopping, and I should probably take her up on that since she'll likely buy them a few things :smileywink:

Everyone keeps commenting on how tall Caden is getting

I guess he is b/c that kid is literally going to need a new wardrobe for fall/winter!
