sorry the girls are having trouble adjusting to going to sleep at night

Ryland has been having some trouble too but he knows if he comes out of his room he'll lose the computer in the morning before school so he just lies in bed and occasionally yawns loudly to let me know he is still awake

LOL

hopefully by next week the kids will all adjust to the new schedules :smileyhappy:

LOL at Ry yawning loudly to let you know he's still in there....awake?
I can just picture Graham doing that? (& Gage too for that matter....although Gage has always been the type that is out the minute his head hits the pillow)

Brian brought me home a blood sugar monitor so I tested my BS before dinner and it was 207

I then tested it 2 hours after dinner and it was 309

he thinks I am diabetic and I think I am too

Yup, she is one funny gal. :smileywink:

I am really trying to just be more mellow around her and keep my comments to myself, lol

She can be a bit self-centered, and it just isn't worth it sometimes to get her to see things in another way

I could have worked 10 hours that day, but she'd want me to feel sorry for her b/c she did one hour of work at night while I got to watch tv

She just doesn't really put herself in others shoes sometimes or realize people's work schedules can be different since obviously some people have typical daytime hours while others only work at night

If she is working at the time, she doesn't want others to be relaxing, lol

Sorry Caden has so much work

On dancing and scout nights Alli skips the reading since she reads a lot over the weekend I feel it is fine

You can only fit so much into the day

We leave for dance/scouts right after school and then don't get home until 7 ... so even if bedtime is at 8:30 instead of 8 - there is still dinner, shower, pjs and homework to fit into 1.5 hours

Mondays we get home at 5:15/5:30 once ccd starts so that won't be too bad

And wed and fri she is home with no where to go

So it is just Tues and Thurs that are crazy

The funny thing is that my BIL used to make a ton of money

According to my mom, after 9/11 that didn't happen anymore

I'm not sure what he makes now, but my guess is that he does make decent money

They live in a tiny house, but they paid well over $500,000 for it due to the area

My BIL now works very close to their house now, so IMO they could not move to another town that is perhaps not as pricey (he used to commute to NY)

That would save a ton on the mortgage, and they would likely be fine then

It sort of depends on when they bought

We spent $300k on our tiny house but cant sell because our mortgage is under water because we bought at the height of the real estate bubble

Even though we could get a much larger house for that money now (or get a same size house for even less money)

It is frustrating!

I wonder when your Sister bought?

We bought in 2005, and basically from 2002-2005 prices were inflated much higher than they are now

Yes

I caution you - it is not tame

I feel you may be offended by the amount of swearing and other naughty things, lol
