The portion of your cycle from ovulation until your next AF your luteal phase The corpus luteum has enough progesterone to maintain the endometrium for an average of 11-16 days following ovulation. Your LP wont change much more than 1 or 2 days. Some woman do not ovulate the same time everymonth so thats why many of us have a period of 30 days 1 month and 34 the next ! BUT our luteral phase stays consistent to what ever is right for us mine averages to 11-13 days! So I know after I ovulate my period will start 11 to 13 days later. Now if im going to be pregnant that month( going by a LP of 12) the egg will implant about average time is 7-10 days after ovulation then it takes another 12 to 24 hours for hcg to start rising and it will double every 48 to 72 hours ! Meaning I probally wont get a ++ test untill at the least the time af is do ! Everything depends on when you O how long your LP is . This is why some get +++ at 12 dpo they may have had a LP of 16 so they will say they got there +++ 4 days before af was do !BUT woman with a LP of 12 and they couldnt get a +++ early they got a ++ at the time af was do !Does this make since to you?Because im about to confuse my self now ! LOL! Hope this helps!
