2 months late and 3 neg PT's... HELP

Hey,
I had my last period in the beginning of June but I have had three negative pregnancy tests. Is it possible to not have enough hormone at this stage to show on PT's? I feel some symptoms of pregnancy but am unsure if they are true.
Has anyone else been in this predicament? I don't feel stressed out but I wonder why I am not getting my period.

I just replied to your other post - but also wanted to say I'm surprised your dr only gave you a urine test today since you already took hpt... did they give you a blood test? did the dr offer possibilities of why no af if you're not pg? wondering for my own situation too... thanks!

I was really surprised at the inaction that my dr. took as well. She was very abrubt with me and refused a blood test saying that they are not as sensitive as the urine test. She also left me after I did the test and had a coworker come in to the room and tell me that I could go now... I had to ask whether or not I was pregnant.. she said no and left. So I left the clinic in tears and did not look back. I was too upset to request further help. Do you think she should have looked at or palpated my stomach?

Please consult another dr. I just went through this same thing... three months late/no period, then finally started this 14 day period from hell of just constant spotting and no real period. I just had a vaginal u/s yesterday, and it turns out that I have a cyst on my ovary and a fiberoid. But what is most concerning is that the lining of my uterus is now very thick from missing three months periods so I may have to have a D and C.

Pleeeeease find a REAL doctor so that delays don't cause you more problems. Before finding all this out, my dr. did two blood pg tests. My hcg level went from 2 to 3 but yesterday they said that is still insignifcant so I was never pg...just stress caused mine to happen.

I hope yours works how how you want it to. But don't take that crap from a dr's office! YOU (or your insurance) are paying them. This office was waaaay to insensitive to you.

Good luck and take care!

hi, wow that is really unbelievable, I am so sorry you went through that. I completely agree, it was extremely insensitive and it's time to find a new doctor. I might even consider contacting your insurance company to file a claim that you shouldn't have to pay for that appt since they didn't do anything to help diagnose what's going on. You already took hpt and since that's the only thing they did for you at your appt it was pointless.

I will post if I find out anything at my appt next week for possible explanations of no af. Have you been checked for cysts? I know that can be a possible cause, but I've heard usually there is pain or some symptoms that would be a flag that something is wrong. I wish I had some other ideas to toss out as to what could be the problem. my lmp was 5/10 but that's when I went off bc, and since you didn't just go off bc that can't the problem for you...

I wish you all the best, please update when you see a BETTER dr

Thanks everyone for all your concern.. I feel like someone is finally listening to me!!!
I am booked in to visit my husbands Doctor ASAP and hopefully this will help me find out what is going wrong. Since I am covered by OHIP I do not have to pay for that stupid appointment but I have wrote a letter to the general manager of the clinic complaining about the way I was treated.
I still have no period but I am trying to relax my brain b/c I wondered if I was just hyping myself up out of excitement. I am really working hard at keeping my mind off my body and "symptoms" that are probably not real at this point. I will keep you posted on our situation and hopefully soon I can let you know that I am on my way to being a mama!!
Thanks again,
Jenn

I am 11 days late (CD41). I have no idea how you have lasted two months with no news at all - I am going crazy and it hasn't even been 2 weeks yet! I am testing negative too. I completely understand about getting hopes up and thinking too much about "symptoms". We are trying not to read too much into anything yet to get our hopes up - it's so hard though with no AF. I hope your next doctor's appointment has some positive news for you - or atleast some help figuring out where AF is... Let us know how it turns out! :)

hey girls
there is hope....I have been following this thread because I was, get this, on day 54, lmp 6/13!!! that's almost 8 weeks since my last AF. I have gotten bfn after bfn, last took one on Sunday, and this morning, guess what bfp!!! My symptoms were slightly tender breast (if I squeezed them), cramping, bloating, and no implantation bleeding whatsoever, just EWCM ever week, usually on Tuesday for some odd reason, I had blood work done yesterday and haven't heard the result, I was too anxious so I took a hpt.....anyways, hope my story of being 8 weeks pg without a positive result would help you!

that is a great story! never lose hope. congrats girl! well, my dr. did a quickie internal, and said 'no cysts', and i don't buy that you can tell all of that from one finger, that nothing could be there, i need to be sure there is nothing wrong in there, and iam definately not pregnant as well, so i know why this is happening. iam calling tomorrow, and demanding an u/s. my dr. wants me to take provera to bring on a period, and the side effects scare me, plus i want a u/s first before i do anything. good luck ladies:)

hugs, michelle
