I had a miscarriage in Dec. I am usually very irrigular. I conceived my 2 boys very easily though. For the baby we lost, we were unprotected for 1 1/2 years before we conceived. Since then, I've only had 2 AF's. I usually have AF about every 6 weeks, give or take. I can usually tell when I ovulate though. I ovulated around 6/6/07, we BD on 6/1, 6/3 and 6/5, although we were interupted on 6/5 and didn't get to .... finish.... then again on 6/8. I don't like to go by 'signs' because I've been fooled before. My breasts usually get sore before AF, but are way more than normal for me, as sore as the were with the last pg. I am only about 9 DPO right now, took a test yesterday and I think there was the faintest of lines, (I don't know if I made myself see it, ya know??) took another test this am and I don't think there was a line, but I had gone to the bathroom only 2 1/2 hours before (can't make it through the night anymore, LOL). I fished the test from the night before out of the trash and there was a very faint line, but now I don't know if that was just an evaporation line. I know I have to get another test and take that, I was just wondering what anyone thought of the timing on this cycle??? What are the chances that BD on 6/3, can conceive when I OV on 6/6?
A little more history, I'll make it short. I was an egg doner for my sister who went through POF early on in life. She has 2 beautiful children from that. The Dr's were able to get 29 eggs from me. I am 34 now, does anyone know how that effects my fertility?

As far as egg donation, they use the eggs that would have been discarded in the cycle anyways (as far as I know)
"In an egg donation cycle, we attempt to recover several eggs from both ovaries by giving fertility medications to the egg donor. The medications overcome the body's natural tendency to select and mature only one egg and instead, will grow 10-20 eggs. Of these 10-20 eggs, only one would have been chosen to ovulate naturally and the remaining eggs would have died off if fertility medications had not been used. This is why egg donation does not use up future eggs. Egg donation results in the "rescue" of eggs that would otherwise have died. This also explains why egg donation will not result in a woman reaching menopause any sooner than she would have been expected to.
