2nd post but need advice - scared!

I'm sorry this is long but I need advice ASAP!! My period was supposed to start last sunday( june 18), on monday I realized I hadn't taken the last active pill of my BC, so I took it that day. By tuesday night my period still had not started and my boyfriend and I had sex (we also used the female conception the "TOday Sponge" which I had never used before - we had always either used a condom or the pull-out method and btw we hadn't had sex in quite a while, nearly a month). Wednesday morning I had a little bit of blood, but it was lighter than normal all day long. By thrusday morning my period had completly stopped and hasn't returned. I'm worried that somehow I may have conceived, especially since the past month I forgot to take my birth control 2 or 3 times and had to take 2 pills the next day. If the egg had not yet dissolved, could it have been fertilized, or could a second egg have been in my tubes, therefore making my period stop because conception had occured? Also on friday I notived what I thought might be a slightly different color discharge than normal. I've been getting headached every day when I wake up that really don't go away and some strange dreams. This morning I work up completly bloated and my stomach felt like a balloon was being blown up inside of it. Please give me any advice you can because I'm pretty worried (I'm 18). Is my mind playing tricks on me? Its only been 6 days since we had sex so I know it really early to take a PT. Thanks!

Hi,
It's not impossible. Some women ovulate close to their periods or twice in a month or hyperovulate (release two eggs). However, being on the pill is really effective and even if you missed a pill or two I would think you'd be okay. It is very unlikely, but the only way to know is to take a test. I would wait it out about a week and take a test. I am going to say though, that it is highly unlikely and I wouldn't be too worried if I were you. Our hormones can be crazy things and mess with us sometimes unexpectedly!
Good luck,
