We were pretty sure that we were pregnant this month...I had taken 3 FRE test and all positive..faint but positive...

I was due to start my period on Friday..it never showed up...so i took another test just a regualr test and it was positive..faint but darker than the previous test........then this morning i wake up and seem to have started my period?!?! I am just in shock..how could this be? Its a full blow period..cramps and all.....I am hoping I wake up tomorrow and it is gone...

Anyway any advice for me here?? what could be going on or what i should do!??!

Thanks

I think you should make an appointment with your doctor or just wait it out and see what happens. Reason being my sister had 4 periods during the first 4 months of her pregnancy and everything is fine!

Well, the same thing just happened to me. It's my second chemical pregnancy or early miscarriage this year. I had tested on three different brands with all faint lines but definitely there. My period was two days late and I was charting, so my temps started to drop, I started to bleed with cramps and took another test and it was negative. Called my doctor and he said I definitely was pregnant with that many tests, but it just didn't implant well. I think with as many tests as you had positive as well the same thing happened to you. I hope I am wrong and you are still pregnant. You need to see your doctor, many women have periods while pregnant. Good luck and keep us posted!! Tressa

Nicole,

Unfortunately, chemical pregnancies happen A LOT! And most of us NEVER know because AF comes as usual. Others that choose to test early, might be a positive but then pregnancy is not strong enough to remain implemented and AF pays her usual visit. This is why most doctors I've spoken to are against early testing because it is hard emotionally to deal with it.

But, as others posted as well, it is possible that you are pregnant and still have your period. It is rare, but it happens.

If I were you, i'd call my doc and request he see me ASAP.

Good luck!

I am so sorry. The same thing happened to me twice. The test showed I was pregnant then a few days later I lost it. It was the same as a regular period, maybe a day or two longer, and there was alot more clotting (sorry if that's TMI) than usual. Your case may be totally different, but I do know that you do not get a full blown period when you are pregnant; some women bleed but it's not the same as AF. My advise would be to go to your doctor to be sure. Take care.

To me it sounds like one of two things have happened, either you were pregnant and now you're not, or you still are pregnant and the bleeding is implantation bleeding. I think that the only answer is to go to your Drs and have a blood test.

Good luck xxx
