Hi everyone, i'm new to this board, and I really would like your opinion and advise.
First of all I was taking bc pills for 8 months. I stoped taking them 7 months ago. This month is my 7th month. I've always been very regular on my menstrual. I have a 28 day cycle, and never missed a period. My last period was November 21st 2006. I am never ever this late on my period. I have already taken 3 first response tests and they were all negative. I had my pap and physical a week ago and they took another urine test and that was also negative, but I didn't see my Dr. because she was running late that day, so I was seen by the NP. I asked for a blood test, but she said to wait a little more to see if it comes down for my next cycle which was supposed to start last Monday the 15th. Now I've missed two cycles. The only thing that throws me of is that I don't feel any symptoms. I do get cramps like if I was on my period, and I did spot a little two weeks ago, but it was a very light pink and it was only when I wiped myself other than that I didn't bleed anymore.

I'm 19 years old, so my mother tells me that my body is still going threw changes, and that maybe a reason why my period is so late. Also the Np said that another reason can be because Istoped taking the bc pills. But seven months later it makes my perid go off. I have another Dr's apt. next monday the 29th for a blood test, so we'll see how that goes. I was thinking I would be about 8 weeks along now so I would feel somthing right? Or show a little? I get depressed not knowing for sure, because my fiance and I would really like this baby. I would appreciate any feedback. THANK YOU!!

Hi there...welcome to the board! It sounds like you need to see your dr again. If you haven't had a period since November, and you're not getting + on an HPT, they might need to give you something to give your period a jumpstart. But your mom might be right that your age could have alot to do with it. Your body does very funky things once in a while...but you're best bet is to see your dr again. Good luck with everything...keep us posted on how you're doing.

Thank you very much for your comment Robin, I just get so depressed waiting and not
knowing whats going on with me. I've convinced myself that I'm just very late so that
when the Dr. tells me I'm not pregnant I won't get that depressed. I guess I'll just wait for my Dr's apt, than. Again Thank You..
