Aching lower abdomen??

Hi again!

I thought for sure I was pregnant this month, but now i have no idea what's going on! I have been having lower abdominal pain on my left side, like minor cramps...sometimes it's on the right and the middle, but mostly on the left. I have been getting SO nauseous lately, haven't thrown up, but I never do, I kinda hate it so I refuse to let my body do it. Anyway, my lower back started hurting today, and I am so tired...Sorry if TMI, but I have been all over my husband lately...and my last period was strange, lighter than usual, but started at the same time and was the same length. just spotting in the beginning and a lot at the end. It's been a week and a half (two weeks tues) since i had started that period. i have taken hpts but they are all negative, and the aching lower ab doesn't go away. The only thing i can figure is it's connected to the kidney infection i had before my last period when i was on antibiotics. i'm on birth control, so i could've technically gotten pregnant while on antibiotics, but maybe they just wreaked havoc on my system? I guess my question is how many of you have had lower abdominal pain, especially on the left? Did you end up being pregnant? Or was it a cyst or something else? I would really appreciate any responses, I'll be going to the doctor tuesday, so I'll let you all know. Thanks for all your responses!

From what I have read today, there have been quiet a few people have that sort of cramping, including myself. I have had it for the past few days. Today hasn't been as bad though. I'm not sure if I'm pregnant or not. It's still slightly early to test. But, when I find something out, I will post my results. I hope that you find the results that you are looking for! GL!!!

Thanks so much for answering me so fast! I have had them for about 2 weeks, so i finally decided hpts weren't doing the trick, so i'm going to the dr. tuesday. my husband thinks it's a cyst or an infection, but it doesn't feel like an infection and i have been so nauseous...he had taco/nachos this morning, and they sounded good until i walked out there and saw them, then i ran straight to the bathroom, i felt so sick! then i smelled them....ick...i usually get nauseous bc of my birth control, but this is much worse. keep me updated, gl with it!

Hi there Banana3466

Yes I wonder about the lower abdomen pain too! Weird. My partner and I are trying to conceive for past 1.5 years and so far not successful. I have always had bad period pain and irregular cycles. Cycles are usually no longer than 33 days or so. I am now on my 39th day and NO period. I have odd lower abdomen pains and sometimes feel like my period is coming and then its not. I havent had a cycle this long b4. I think I have also ovulated twice this month too. Once on the 16th Sept and the other on 29th Sept. Believe it or not I have done 4 pg tests and NEGETIVE for each one!! I am feeling a little queezy and urinate more often than usual. Is this in my head??? My partner is excited but I keep telling him we are not PG as the tests are neg. Is it too early for me to test??

I am not sure if you are pg or not. Did the doctor do a blood test??? Let me know what happens? I am crossing all my toes and fingers for you anyway.

Hi there.

I just wanted to say that I am experiencing almost the exact thing...pain in left lower abdomen. Not really nauseaus, but not normal. Lower back pain. I had an accident on Friday...I was thinking about whether I might be pregnant or not, if that isn't horrible.

I want to be! It encourages me to have other women with these strange cramps. It's been about a week and they haven't gone away, but I only had one time where I felt there was any strange bleeding. It was only a moment--does everyone have implant bleeding? Is it always like a strange period?

Good luck to you!

Sick 'cause of nachos? Hmmm...something does sound a little fishy there, Jessica. Ya know, maybe your husband is right about the cyst or something, but that would mean that just about every woman here has a cyst 'cause 65% of us are talking about these lower abdomen cramps. -l- Just kidding....I really hope that isn't what is 'causing your cramping. I hope that the doc has some really good news to tell you when you go. You'll definitely have to keep us all posted on what he/she says!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Hey renadil,

Definetly isn't too early to test. If you think you might be, go grab a decent test and let us know how it goes, I think we all are very curious. To me it sounds like you are, but we notice every little thing when we want it. I have taken 4 or 5 tests myself, and i have no idea why there are all bfn, so i'm doing a blood test tuesday, wish me luck. it might be good for you and your husband just to go get a blood test, to settle it once and for all and to figure out what it is, good or bad. Good luck on everything, hope your prayers are answered.

Hey riverwoods:

On implantation bleeding, not everyone has it. Even if you do, you may not be able to tell the difference between that and your period. My last af was two weeks ago tuesday, and it started on the same day, but seemed lighter than normal and i spotted more at the end. So I think that may have been my implantation bleeding. But what I've learned is that what is a symptom for someone may never happen to another soul, so keep your attention on what your body is doing and use your own judgement. I hope you get what you desire, let us know if you need to talk!

Men love to analyze things, don't they? I got nauseous from nachos ranch dressing, and cofe yesterday, and then this morning i just woke up and about 15 minutes later got nauseous. my hubby thinks maybe it's because i just started taking vitamins the day before i got sick. my body shouldn't be so mad at vitamins! What do you think? I'm so ready to go to the doctor, he'll fix me. :0) or at least give us some news!

Thanks

Jessica

Isn't that the truth! My hubby is full of all sorts of opinions except for what's going on w/my body! -l- He just says that he doesn't know. That it's my body. How's that for analysis? -s- And about those vitamins...that is a touchy thing, 'cause I think that they make me sick just smelling them. Heck, even my DD's chewables stink! -l- But, I do remember when I was pg before and the smell of them or peanutbutter, eggs or anything creamy like mayo or salad dressings sent me straight to the bathroom. So, that could be a very excellent sign for you. -crossing fingers- Like I said, just keep us informed about what the doc says. I'm anxious to see that BFP!! GL...-s-
