Is this really possible? I have had 3 babies so far...never had this happen. Always a BGP so this has been really confusing and frustrating for me. So I test this morning...very faint line and boom...here comes AF. Possible miscarriage? AF was due yesterday/today. I was thinking to retest later this week...have heard of AF and being pregnant. Any advice would be great...thanks!

To be honest the only time I have had this happen was with a miscarriage. I got a positive on March 11 (late at night without first morning urine) and another positive the next morning, the first was faint and the second was even fainter. I went to birthline to have it confirmed and it was negative. Went home and took test after test all showing up negative, then on the 19th I had a really bad period with cramps from hell (excuse the language but its true). In my experience my level of HcG was probably about non-existant by the time I miscarried, so the only thing I could tell you is to go get another test (preferably the same brand you used when you got the positive) and test again in a week. If you still get a positive, or the line is darker, go to your doctor and have them run a test (or you could probably just skip the HPT and go straight to the doctor). It could have been a miscarriage but I also had a friend who was 5 weeks pregnant and bleeding pretty heavily but did not lose the baby (in fact she is due in December). Good Luck and Best wishes.
