Hi there,

I've been lurking, and thought i'd post and see if anyone can help me feel better.

I have a 20 month old son. He is the light of our lives. DH and I could not be happier. He is just the most amazing little person in the world!

We did plan on having a big family, and discussed TTC this summer. Well, we said we'd just see what happens, you know, not really TTC aggressively. This is the 2nd cycle since that talk, and I'm not feeling like I usually do before AF. My BBs are a little more tender than usual (but it comes and goes). I do feel nauseus different times of the day, and I've had

I know the feeling of trying to wait and not sure what to do in the meantime so that you don't test every day just to see. When I was pg with my son, 6 months old now, in the beginning before I knew I was pg, I had gotten what I thought was a yeast infection and it ended up being a bacterial infection instead. I've heard a few women get infections right in the beginning although I'm not completely sure why. My AF isn't due until about Sunday or so and I've had a few symptoms myself except they are generally on and off for me as well. I'm not sure if you had m/s with your son but I did with mine and I figured out yesterday I had what seems like it because to me, it feels different then just normal nausea. I hope I was of some help. Good luck.

Thanks Alaina,

Your thoughts definately help. I am having that nausea and strong hunger pains that i remember from DS. But it's on and off. With DS I remember having an INSTANT change in my sense of smell. Before I even tested, I knew I was pg b/c i could smell EVERYTHING, and it all made me nauseaus. Haven't had that yet. BUT, i am

Monika,

It's a natural feeling to want to be able to give your child enough attention. It just means your a good mom. I tend to test too early but when it comes to testing early but late enough I find that First Response Early Result can get you results as early as 10 dpo just depending on the woman. I am trying at the moment to wait until 12 dpo because according to the box, in 1-2 days before 93% of pg women got a ++++.

I know the "held back excitement" feeling. I've been trying to do it myself just incase it's all from something else. Sometimes, with each pg you have, the symptoms can be completely different, somewhat diff, or the same so don't ride too much on them being just alike. Good luck with everything. It's kind of ironic how we almost with for m/s at first to confirm pg but none of us ever REALLY want it once we know.

what a wonderful way to look at my whole fear of not enough attention to my son. i really never thought of it that way, and thank you so so so much! i kept thinking that it meant i don't want a 2nd child, which would lead to MORE guilt, ESP if i'm pg. But that isnt the case. You're right, I just want my son to have all he wants and needs. But i'd want the same for the 2nd too... and like you said, its natural.

Thanks so much. You're so right... we look for all these symptoms, and then once you confirm pg, you dont want them! LOL. Actually, I have had a m/c before, so for me, no matter how horrible, the m/s etc. means its all going well, so i feel horrible, but feel great about it! LOL.

Well... looks like you and i are holding out till about the same time. You'll have to update me! I'm on day 22, which means about 9 dpo, assuming i'm right about the O date. It's hard to say b/c after i stopped bfing and got AF back it ranged from 20-28 day cycle, so who knows!!

GL!!!
