I do not know where I should post but I figure try here.
I just had a baby 8 weeks ago. When she turned 6 weeks I could of swore my AF was coming. I had aweful cramps like I do with the AF. I was thinking oh no not yet. But yet I never bled. I been feeling kind of funny lately, incredibly tired and cravings for chocolate. I been having cramps on and off also. I do not think I have any other things going on, I just all confused. I thought the AF came back within a month after birth and I am still waiting 8 almost 9 weeks later.
Thanks

Hi. Congratulations on your new baby. My son is 3 months old now. For the longest time I would have all the symptoms of AF, but it would never come. Then, the symptoms would go away and come back again. Well, it took 10 weeks for AF to come back. So don't panic yet. Are you breastfeeding? And have you had unprotected sex? I read somewhere even if you are not breastfeeding it can take up to six months after having a baby for AF to come back. But that sounds awfully long to me!

Hello..
I dont want to be devils advocate, or the bearer of "bad" news, but I concieved again 4 weeks after my daughter was born in May, the pregnancy however did end in MC at 16wks, I never had AF, nor was I BFing...if your concerned take a test, and if its another pregnancy this close isnt planned, I would look into some sort of protection (not to preach)..
But havent you been in for a 6wk check up ???? If not I would defenitally give a call to your OB just Because you havent had AF... ( a reason should be defined )

Yeah, trust me I was a nervous wreck too before I got my first period November 4. Just out of curiosity what kind of birth control are you going to use? We're using condoms and spermicide.

I missed my six week check up, my daughter was really sick and to me my kids come first. My husband is getting fixed tomorrow, he had an appointment last month that he cancelled so I could be at the hospital with my grandfather who wound up passing away the next day. I might get a test, I feel really weird and I had those damn cramps I get when I am on AF but I never bled. I tried to look up online about this and found when your not BF normally you go right back into it. I could of swore with my others I had it within four weeks. I also found obs may not be concerned about the AF if your not BF until 12 weeks post partium. Found that online. I m/c once at 13 weeks, even then I started up right away. Maybe I am just paraniod, I tend to worry about things to much. Thanks for the resposnes.

Hi` Ladies
I breastfeed and got my period 6 months later. It was Great. Being a new mom again has enough responibility. However, I too think you should schedule that check up. Don't neglect yourself....your kids need you. :) On the flip side you sound pg.

Fabulous
