Any advice out there?

I think I may be pregnant, but not sure. I was living with my boyfriend in CT and went off the pill in July. I had my regular period at the begining of August on schedule with my 28 day cycle. We never used any other form of contraception, but he rarely ever finished inside of me. We ended up breaking up in early september (I was one week late, but didn't say anything, I took a test and it came back negative). I had to move back to MI from CT and but was another week late. I took the second test in the box (which was indicated to do so after seven days and no period) and it came out negative as well. A few days later I had some slight spotting, but nothing resembling my regular periods. I assumed that my period had been late because of the stress of breaking up with my boyfriend, having to move back to MI, not eating very well and losing 12 pounds.

Now, it's mid-october and still no period. I have been doing some research online to see if I have any pregnancy symptoms, and I have some. I haven't really experienced any morning sickness, but I have been dizzy, light headed and shaky. I had not had much of an appetite lately because of the break up, but now it seems like I'm hungry all day long. And I'm tired, but not really fatigued. I've also been experiencing slight cramping and discomfort in my lower abdomen, but not like I would normally get before my period, and still no bleeding. As far as frequent urination goes, I drink a lot of water anyway, so I haven't really noticed anything different. One last thing I have noticed is that I feel bloated and gassy much more than usual. Should I consider these symptoms warning signs?

I am currently not working because of the move and have no insurance. I have been looking online also to find a free clinic so I can get a blood test and maybe an ultrasound. But for now, if anyone can shed any light on this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

Well sometimes when you come off the pill it can mess with your body and many experience pregnancy type symptoms. But you had one normal period so its hard to tell. As far as clinics, I live in Michigan too and there are a lot of Planned Parenthood clinics around. They have a habit of doing a urine test and sending you home, so you have to make sure you makr it clear to them what you want. Good Luck, feel free to email me if you wish emilysgk@hotmail.com Oh, and put planned parenthood of michigan in a search and they have websites, and will give you all the locations they have so you can find the closest one to one.

Hello! I think you should go & get a blood test from your Dr. & make sure they don't try to just get you to do a urine test. Good luck!
