Hi. I am just curious. My husband and I have been TTC for several years now. I'm now 30 and had a miscarriage at 28. i think I was half scared to really "try" after that. Anyway, Just curious if anyone had a bladder infection or weird pressure in that area before finding out they were or weren't pregnant. Thanks for your input

I'm so sorry to hear of your angel. This is my 2nd cycle of TTC#2. My first cycle was very unusual for me. On Friday, the day before I thought I was going to O I felt my pre-bladder infection symptoms (have had them on and off since college so I'm familair with them). I tried to get rid of it on my own before it became full-blown by drinking lots of cranberry juice. I've done this before and it's worked for me. We BD'd when O was expected (I'm not charting, just checking CM). But Monday I still wasn't feeling right so I went to OB/GYN to get tested. They tested for UTI and PG (even though I told them that it was way too early for BFP)--both were negative. Then abt 5-6 DPO I spotted and BBs felt tender and fuller, started to feel crampy. I thought for sure that it was implant bleeding. At 8DPO, I really did not feel well. I continued to spot for 3 days, on day 4 AF came 5 days early. I did have that weird pressure last cycle. I don't remember if I had that same feeling when PG with DS.

I later read that sperm do not survive well in an acidic environment (like from me drinking so much cranberry juice). So I probably killed off all the sperm before they had the chance to do their job!

I'm still convinced that the egg might have been fertilized but then something went wrong when it tried to attach. Then triggered AF to arrive early.

Anyway, sorry this got so long...

HTH,

Lynn

Hi, I'm sorry for your loss. My name is Julie and I'm now 27 and miscarried at 24.

Yes, I have a mild bladder infection. My husband and I have been trying(again) officially for 1 month, and the last week or so I've had a mild bladder infection and just a strange pressure...it hasn't been as painful as other ones I've had, so I've been wondering what's going on. I've been wondering/hoping if it has anything to do with a possible pregnancy. Aunt Flow is due around the 10th, so I have a few more days to wait, but of course I notice every little thing that could possibly be a sign of pregnancy. Wish me luck! Good Luck to you! Let me know what happens!!

Hmmm. That makes me wonder. I thought I had a bladder infection on Friday. I called the doctor and they went ahead and gave me macrobid because I have had infections in the past. They did a urine sample, and they called me back on Monday and said everything was fine - the urine sample did not show I had a bladder infection, so there was no need to continue with the medicine. The symptoms had disappeared over the weekend. I am expecting AF any day now. I am on day 31 of my cycle, although it has been irregular. I'm testing again on Friday, so we'll see.

Wow, maybe this bladder thing could be good for us. Mine bladder infection (or whatever it is) also is not very bad..... the pressure thing is more of what i have with a twinge or 2 of pain. my mom is real excited because she said when she was pregnant that happened to her. best of luck to you...only a few more days til you can test. I hope it is a BFP!
