Okay - you'd think I knew how pregnancy happened after having a baby this past January. Well apparently I might not. Well I dunno.
Here is some b/g info. With Peyton I didn't know I was pregnant til like 12 weeks. Seriously - even with all the morning sickness and fatigue!
So here I am Mid-May and haven't had a period since March 22nd. I'm not experiencing those wonderful systoms yet. Although - according to the calculator I should be 7 weeks. I took a HPT on 4-28 and it came back "not pregnant".
But here is the funny thing - I'm having horrible headaches. I mean migraine type that take you out! I just feel "funny". And I've put on 4 pounds even though my activity level is actually higher now than it has since I had Peyton! I was looking lots of weight and now suddenly I'm gaining it again??
I've talked to my OB at the end of April (4-30) - he blew me off and said "You can't be pregnant if the HPT isn't positive - it would be by now". So I talked to him again today and told him "Look - I'm having horrible headaches and I've gained 4 pounds in the last month". His response was "Take some migraine meds and watch what you eat".
I'm frustrated because my OB and my PCP are NOT listening to me. My PCP just directed me to my OB/GYN since he did deliver me, etc.
So what are the chances I could have Irish Twins??? I'm just hoping I'm not carrying Twins!!!!

yea honestly... it doesnt sound like your pregnant, aside from
Nope - not BFing at all. He's been totally bottle.
And yes I am pregnant. I found out today in the another OB's office. So there ya go!
The headaches, dizzyness, and weight gain was enough to get her attention especially since I had been like clock work for 2 months after his birth then bam nothing. She thought it was odd - I just asked her if we could try to find a heart beat and we did.
I'm heading in Friday to find out via ultrasound how far along and all that good stuff.
So now one problem solved and another just beginning. LOLOL.
Irish twins is two babies born less than a year apart.
I'm glad you got a second opinion on the situation. Congratulations. I'm sure once you have time to absorb it all, you'll see the positives. Hugs.
That just goes to show that you know your body better than anyone else. :) Congrats!
