hi,

this may seem like it shouldnt be a problem but I was hoping for some input...

About two years ago I had a miscarriage my doctor sent me to the hospital to be examined etc. The problem is while I was there the doctor who saw me made me feel more like a criminal than a patient, she was very rough and unfriendly and while I was being examined there were other people walking in and out of the room (including another patient)All in all i felt like a nusiance. when I tried to ask what was going on she actually asked me why I was pregnant if I knew so little of what to expect.

My problem is that now my partner and I were thinking of trying to get pregnant and I am terrified that I will be feeling/treated like this through the pregnancy, i was really hoping that someone could tell me if this kind of experience is normal and I am just over sensitive or if it will be different next time i have to visit the hospital?

That is AWFUL! If I were you, I would have written a letter to the hospital and made a really big stink... Dr's are in the business of not only healing people on the outside but also within. You should not be worried about that happening again! Don't let an off the wall experience like that ruin you and DH's dreams for a little one. Just sit back, enjoy the ride and all your dreams will come true with happy thoughts!

Best of Luck
