I have been on the BC Pill well over a year now. I am overweight and sometimes I do miss 1 pill maybe but I will catch up with my next pill by taking two like instructed. The past couple months I have had symptoms as if I was pregant. I pee more frequently, I have headachs, I get acne, I feel nausa and bloated. But PMS Makes you feel the dame way. got my period last month so that let me know I wan;t I was just wondering if I could be because I;m on the BC if you would still get your period of ou got pregant on them or is it just around the ovulaton period they make your body think it is pregant so it won't ovulate and that is why I am feeling the symptoms? Thanks

The only preg. symptoms I got on the pill was bigger and more often sorer boobs. I can't say for anyone else though. Now that I am off (for a month) the pill though they are still sore. Darn.

Missing one pill and catching up wouldn't make me worry. UNLESS you missed the pink pill right before the placebo pills. Then you have a greater chance of ovulating and thus, getting pregnant.

Good luck with whatver result you wnat!

ok, celebration seems weird at first, i know....but i'm soooooo happy to find somebody who's going through the same type of thing as me! like, almost exactly! i've been having "pregnancy" symptoms for almost 2 1/2 months, but had my last two periods....just lighter than normal (and the last one only lasted about half as long as normal). i'm also overweight. i took an HPT, but it was negative. i'm starting to think that there might be something wrong - i'm going to the doctor thursday. i'll let you know what i find out. but, just for your information, studies have shown that hormonal birth control (the patch, the pill, etc) can be as much as 60% less effective for women who have a BMI over 30 (effectiveness starts going down if it's over 25)! (if you'd like to figure out your BMI (body mass index), here's a site with a calculator for it - http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/calc-bmi.htm) also, i found an article on ivillage (search for side effects of the pill) that says that, tho it's not what USUALLY happens, women who are on the pill can continue to get a "period" because the pill makes it so there's still a drop in hormones at the time that the period should occur. a bc period kind of almost isn't a period, anyway. isn't a period supposed to follow ovulation? you shouldn't be ovulating every month if you're on the pill, now should you? *hehe* wow, i'm so happy....(i've also been a bit of a moron today, but that's beside the point...)

will you be my friend????
