I took a First Response early pregnancy test this morning and got negative. However, I am still having all the 'symptoms'.

On July 24-27 I had brown spotting when wiping, once there was a bit of red, but all the other times it was brown. I have been bloated, nausea (on two mornings), a 'fullness' feeling in my belly, tired often, peeing more frequently (in my opinion at least), and high temps. (I take my temps at around 3:30 every afternoon, after being still for around 15-60 min.)

My periods are beyond irregular so I have no clue when another is going to arrive. I take provera (10mg for 12 days) to get my period (i had my last one June 8th), but I always get a period on my own the next month after getting a period with Provera.
This time I haven't.

If the brown spotting was implantation, how long after implantation is one supposed to take a test? I've heard some say right away, others a few days, some people 5-8 days... I suppose it could be possible I am testing too early, but wouldn't i have gotten a positive on the first response early pregnancy test today?

Anyway, I dont want to get my hopes up thinking I am testing too early, but basically, is it more likely the negative today was correct? Or is there a real possibility that I tested too early?

Either way, I will likely test again soon, just to make sure I guess. But an outside opinion might be helpful, since its hard to say so myself.

Hope any of that made sense, kinda down today so my writing my be off. :P
