Can OPK really indicate pregnancy??

I know I've seen this mentioned before . . . but if someone . . . ANYONE can be so kind as to offer any insight -- I would really appreciate it. I have been feeling very tired, nauseous on and off with occasional headaches and lower back aches. AF came on 8/8 -- so it's been a couple of weeks -- but I have a long cycle (34 days) and don't expect to ovulate for another week or so.

But I had a spare OPK test and decided to test it on a whim a few minutes ago and it came up with a very dark test line -- indicating pending ovulation, I guess. Only thing is -- as I said above -- I shouldn't ovulating for at least another 5 days or so (last month I ovulated on day 20). So could the dark test line indicate pregnancy????

OK -- I know this is really long and confusing -- but if anyone can help I would really appreciate it. I suppose I am just getting my hopes up for nothing, but . . . if I am pregnant -- what the heck was my very normal AF a couple of weeks ago??

TIA!!!!!!

Of course my DH is thrilled -- as it sees it as a clear sign of a BD fest! But I just want to be cautious -- if I am in fact pregnant. I know that women ovulate on different days each cycle -- but this seems so early! I just read somewhere though that you can have "mini LH surges" before the real thing -- so maybe that's all it was! Regardless -- we'll take your advice and get to BDing just in case! Thanks so much for your response!

Love,

Eve
