Hi!

I'm new here...been lurking lately as we just decided to try for #3 recently.

I'm having a little cramping since yesterday. It seemed like O cramping to me really, but opk tests have been negative. Now this afternoon I saw what was blood tinged mucous on the tp after going to the bathroom(sorry if TMI!!!). I have never had mid-cycle bleeding in my life. I never had implantation bleeding with my other 2 pregnancies either. Can you bleed a little before or during ovulation?? My dh and I only bd on cycle day7 and then last night so implantation bleeding doesn't seem likely right? I'm so freaked out by this! It just never happens to me.

Any info or experience with this would be helpful! Thanks!

Wow, I came online to post my big concerns and see that yours is EXACTLY the same as mine! How weird! I have never had any thing like this happen to me either. I am CD18 and have had cramps for the last 24 hours that feel very "O" related but maybe not. We BD on CD8, CD9, CD10, CD11, CD12, CD13, CD14, CD15, and CD16. I've heard of implantation bleeding but have never experienced this with any of my other pregnancies. Ever!! When I wipe I have a streak of brown (old) blood. I still have a lot of cramping. It freaks me right out.

Is there anyone out there who can help us? If we've never had implantation bleeding with other pregnancies, is it even possible to experience at a subsequent pregnancy? At which date would it happen after the BD?

hi, are you about a week or so away from AF? if so, it very well may be inplantation bleeding. Each pregnancy is different or so they say lol. If you are trying then wait to see if AF comes and if not, then test.. hope this helps. K

I guess it could happen to me but what are the chances that implantation bleeding really exists at all? I know there is a lot of controversy about this. I guess I want a baby pretty badly.

Isn't it great to come on and see someone with your same problem you thought was a strange one! I just love these boards. They have helped me more than doctors and books combined in my conceiving, pregnancy, and breastfeeding adventures.

I did some serious searching online and came up with what I think is an answer. I think mine must be ovulation-related since I'm only cd12 and normally O around cd14. It must just be really gearing up right now with all the cramping and this weird blood tinged mucous which must be the EWCM I've read so much about.

I think in your case since you are most likely post ovulation and bd'd so much that you have a good shot at it being implantation bleeding. I imagine every pregnancy is different, although mine were surprisingly similar even though they were different sex and all. Both times I had morning sickness, carried low and small, and my water broke prior to contractions starting. The big difference was how they were born! My 1st was breach and had to be born via c-section and my second I was able to do a VBAC thankfully.

You have more to be hopeful about than me at this point...is it your 3rd you are trying for? I hope you are pregnant!

Everything is working against us. I know I'm about to O or maybe did but my dh hurt his knee and is on pain meds and that isn't helping the bd'ing along AT ALL!! Sheesh...every other time of the month he's begging for it constantly and right when I O, this happens and he's all out of whack. I keep thinking it's a sign....

I know, I love that others have the same problems that I do! ha ha.

I have four children already. They are 22, 19, 17 and 12. I am 37 and have baby hunger pretty badly. It also doesn't help that this is a new marriage and both of us would love to have a child of our own. It just seems ironic now that I really want something that I have to jump through the fertility hoop. I have a whole new appreciation.

Although I've never had implantation bleeding before, I'm hoping that this is what I had.I'm going to test at the end of the week.

Did anyone ever find out what it was. This is exactly what I'm going through. Two kids previously and everything. We're you pregnant? Was it something serious if u weren't? Help please! :)
