Hi everyone. Im new. I am fertile myrtle. My last 2 pregnancies I got pregnant the first time.
Fastforward to now..
I have been on the pill for a couple years. The past couple months I have been very bad about taking it. My last period was around September 29th or 30th. I took my pill Sunday-Tues... but forgot them at home when I went to VA for a week. Got home 11th used pull out method on 12th and condoms rest of the month. We are not planning on trying to get pregnant. I am usually very regular 28-30day cycles. Taking only those first 2-3 pills, would that throw my whole cycle off? Here it is Nov 5th and I havent started my period. I did the Q-tip test I read on another thread and it came out clear. What does that mean anyway?
So should I test? Could I be? What are the chances doing the pull out method? I mean really? The only noticeable difference is I have been tired, and yesterday at church I felt sort of out of it..if that makes sense...like i was off.

As long as it is done properly the p/o method is effective 81% of the time. Your cycle could just be off from missing those few pills, I know my cycles always got messed up because of that. You should be able to take a test and have it be reliable since you are late. Good luck.

PS I am unfamiliar with the q-tip test, so I can't help you there.
Hi there,
I am expecting my sixth child. I am 7 weeks along. We always have used the P/O method only, and we have never had an accident, except for this time. However to be honest the few times we had sex this last month was very few since we hadn't had a chance to be together. So I think this one was just meant to be by God, no other explanation really. Anyhow it is possible to get pregnant by this method, but if done properly its not a very high risk.
All of our children have been very planned in the last 18 years.
Love,
Trina
