checking cervix for pg

Okay all, I don't know if anyone knows about this but I just found out that you can check your cervix and it might shed some light as to whether you're pg or not. Normally your cervix is long and firm. It kinda feels like the tip of your nose. during ovulation it gets higher and then after O it gets longer and firm again. If you happen to get pg, The cervix will be high and soft. Hope that helps. I guess I'll find out if it's true. Mine is high and soft.

from amIpregnant.com.....
- Twelve day - Possible week of general ovulation (Note: 14 days
before next menstrual cycle begins, is a general assumption for
ovulation. It has been noted women can ovulate at any time during
their cycle. This chart is an example of a typical 28 day cycle).
Somewhere from the 12th day of your cycle through the 18th day, you
may ovulate. You may feel your cervix is very high, open and wet.
- Nineteenth day through twenty-eighth - PMS (pre-menstrual
syndrome). The cervix is now returning to the dryer, lower, closed
state you noticed above. If you were pregnant, your cervix would be
closed, become blue in colour, and cervical mucous would begin
increasing due to hormones and blood flow to the uterus.
