"Chemical Pregnancy"

Thanks to all who repsponded to my prev. post re sudden stopping of symptoms = fertilized egg that failed to implant. Once you all turned me on to the concept of "chemical pregnancy," I looked into it further (so thanks for steering me in the right direction). It looks like this is generally caused by one of two things: low HCG production and/or a chromosomal abnormality of the embryo (and these, of course, might easily be interrelated). According to what I read, there's no correllation between these "very early miscarriages" and later-onset miscarriages... that is, just b/c you have a chemical pg one month doesn't mean it'll ever happen again or that it's necessarily any cause for worry. I'll still be seeing my doc for a full fert. workup, at any rate.

So here's one more question for you: Have you ever had tender bb's that CAME AND WENT? That is, this month, mine will be sore for a few days, be okay for one, then sore again. Maybe I'm just a complete hormonal CASE these days, lol!! Let's hope it's pregnancy insanity!!!!!!!!

Thanks in advance for any replies... you women are a fantastic source of support.

For me it's been 4 of the last 5 months, and symptoms start maybe 3-4 dpo and run 7-10 days
