clear blue easy early response?

This is the test I have been using. Today should be AF day or tomorrow. I have used two Clear Blue tests came back neg. I read somewhere that U.S. version is less sensitive than UK version, however is this just the regular Clear Blue, not the early response version? Any thoughts? DH and I used withdrawal on O day and I have backache and weepy. Usually 27 to 28 days start, so could still get AF tomorrow. Looking for rays of hope that maybe my test isn't as sensitive as I thought (even though box claimed you could test 4 days early). Thanks again for responses below. What tests are you mostly using?

Read the HPT box again. Sure, they say you can test as much as 4 days before your period, so that's what I used to do. However, the box also should have a comment on the test's accuracy at that 4-day range. First Response, which is considered one of the "best" out there, still only reports about 50% of positives at 4 days before AF.

Each pg is different, so it can take some time for enough HCG to build up in your bloodstream. Hang in there, and hopefully you can get a BFP in a few days!

Good luck to you!

I'm almost a week late. Should a hpt be able to detect the pregnancy hormone in my urnine yet?

Hi, I just typed a message about clear blue easy....call the help line, they gave me some good advice, I just hope their test is right and the drs urine test is wrong. Apparently different tests detect different amounts of the pregnancy hormone, some are just more sensitive that others. I always opt for the 4 day early test out of impatience(ttc over a year), the last time I got pregnant I tested a day or so after my period was due and the line was very faint on the CBE, but was not visable on EPT for another few days. Try again with a different test. Good luck!

I used the same test when I was pregnant with my son, but I used it when I was 2 days late. And as soon as the urine soaked the stick it turned postive, I mean immediatly there was a line. So i hope this helps good luck.
