hi, i posted last week and NO ONE replied..so PLEASE even if u have never been in this situation, just be so kind as to give u'r opinion. ok..here is my story- i am 6 months postpartum and i breastfeed(about 3/4 times a day)....my lmp was oct. 9 and it was the first one i hadsince delivery. this month, nov. 9th- nothing!. i tested nov. 11th, early EVENING urine and (-). i have no "true" pregnancy symptoms, but i never have..the only thing i am feeling is a lot of achiness/crampiness like my af is about to start, although oddly enuff- i never cramp for my period. oh, and i think i should tell u this too- i have gotten pg while breastfeeding 3 other times..my kids r 4,3, 22 months and 6 months. any opinions or similiar "gluttons for punishment" lol out there? at this point i would not even mind a "hey, i read your post and i can only say u r crazy" response! good luck to all testing and ttc!

hi! i've definatly never been there before (never been pregnant to begin with), but i know how irritating it is to not get any replies! so i guess here's my two cents:

if that was your first AF since you gave birth, it might just be that you haven't become regular again. that's what seems most likely to me. but at the same time, especially with your past, i think it is possible for you to be pregnant. so, um, my "advice" to you is to wait another week or two and if AF still hasn't shown, test again. it seems to me that, though you may be irregular for awhile, you probably wouldn't completely skip an AF once you've gotten that first one. i think that if you go another two or three weeks with no BFP or AF, you might want to at least call your doc and see if he/she thinks something might be up.

good luck! i hope this works out well for you!

I agree with the previous post. Wait a week and test again if you still haven't gotten AF. You probably aren't regular yet.

Hi,

I also got PG while breastfeeding. The only thing different with me was that I had a regular AF immediately postpartum. So when I missed my period, I knew something was up. I also did not have any symptoms. I would re-test in a few days. Good luck I hope you get the answer you want.

Hi hon, I am not here much, just kinda lurking and caught your post...While bfing you can resume cycles and still be an ovulatory also. Also can cause a later o. Although this does not help much, your bfn could very easily be due to a late o hence af returning later than normal or a late implantation if you indeed did concieve. I agree with the other girls, if af is still a no show, retest in 7 days and if still bfn, call your doc.

(I also concieved while bfing...concieved my angel baby on dd 1st bday)

Always,

Chrissy
