I had a + opk on friday (after midnight) that i marked as saturday and again tonight. how is that possible? i had negatives the other days. is it possible to have ovulated twice a few days apart and have 2 different lh surges? i dont know what is going on with my body now. any input would be appreciated.

the way i understand it, it is possible to have more than one surge a cycle however those surges don't garuntee that you ovulated because you can only ovulate once a cycle. So if you are getting positives then treat it as if you are ovulating but unless you temp you wont know if you actually did or not. If you temp, did your temp go up after the last positive opk?

Hi there!
Last month I had the same thing happen! Another lady replied to my post telling me that when you get your first opk...do not test anymore! She actually called the company that made them. They said there could still be enough hormone to make the opk positive. Basically, test, and after your first positive, assume you will ovulate in the next 24-48 hours and do not take them anymore. It just gets confusing. HTH!!!!!

Hmmm..not sure about that one...I'm new at the whole temping thing. I thought after three consecutive rising temps you have O'd. I just make sure I BD every other day when I see the positive opk on the first day.

Maybe you can post a link to your chart as a new topic and see what the other girls think your O date is. They are pretty good at that!

Good Luck,
Kelsi
