concerned..pregnant or paranoid?

Hi!
I have been researching pregnancy and stumbled across this forum. I guess I should go right to my problem. I had sex, for the first time, on Sept. 1st. My partner used a spermicidal condom. He was experienced so there is not a question of improper condom use. At the time, I was expecting my period to arrive at any day. About two or three days later, I got my period, which I remember as being slightly heavier than normal, and it lasted until about Sept.8th or so. I have not menstruated since then. I attributed my first missed period to stress, and also returning to college for my senior year, living with a group of girls etc. However, now it is Nov.10th and I still have yet to mensturate again. If I am pregnant, I would be at 9 weeks now.

I do have irregular periods but I'm getting nervous something could have gone wrong. My partner was a friend of mine but we've had a huge falling out and I dont want to bring up my concerns, he would dimss them immediately. I have not experienced anything like morning sickness or fatigue, I notice my stomach is a little more pronounced, but again I am back at school and eating/drinking more. I have confided my worries to a couple close friends, and they have tried to assure me that I am not pregnant because I had a period and therefore implantation could not have happened, but I am growning more and more concerned by the day. Any advice or knowledge anyone could share with me would be terrific.
Thanks so much!

Have you taken a pregnancy test? If not, try doing that - it will help ease your mind. Also see a doctor on campus (if you have a campus clinic) about your delayed period... With no symptoms, a history of irregular periods, and because you had a period soon after having sex I doubt that you are pregnant. Stress may very well be delaying your period. Good luck and take care!

Thanks again itrish!
